Being an authority in your field sets you apart from the competition. It positions you as the “go to” person for potential clients. It garners respect from your peers. It supercharges your marketing.
In short, being an authority is great for business. And I can help you build that authority by helping you write, edit, and market your own book.
Editing, Ghostwriting, and Marketing Content for Lawyers & Legal Professionals
The law is a confusing, and often intimidating, thing for many people. Attorneys have a great opportunity to educate non-attorneys through the content they create and share, whether that’s a how-to book geared towards the layperson or helpful blogs on their websites.
Here’s where I come in. I’ve worked with many attorneys to edit and ghostwrite content and I understand their unique challenges:
- Following strict guidelines with respect to advertising and marketing to avoid disciplinary action or even disbarment
- Writing in an approachable, non-jargony way that non-attorneys can easily understand
- Finding the time to get the marketing done
I work with attorneys and law firms in Charleston, across the state of South Carolina, and in other states to ghostwrite and edit content that positions them as authorities and helps them attract clients. I’ve also twice attended the LEAPP Advertising School seminar at the South Carolina Bar in Columbia on the topic of ethics and advertising rules for SC attorneys to learn about the advertising restrictions South Carolina lawyers first hand. I’ve written for attorneys who practice in many areas, including:
- Business Law
- Estate Planning
- Personal Injury (including motor vehicle accidents)
- Workers’ Compensation
- Social Security Disability Insurance
- Criminal Law (DUI)
If you’re an attorney who’s looking for support to create marketing content, develop and write your book, or edit a completed manuscript, I’d love to hear from you.
